At Accurate Document Destruction, Inc., we know that good shredding services amount to a lot more than just destroying your medical or financial records. Shredding is a thorough and multi-step process that involves vigilance and protection at every level.
There’s no question that Accurate is at the top of its game when it comes to shredding paper off-site or shredding paper on-site. We can haul your documents to one of our sites for destruction, or we can come to your site with our mobile document shredding unit – a self-contained, self-powered behemoth that eats paper, staples, file folders and paper clips.
But none of that means anything if we can’t destroy your documents with speed and privacy. Not to mention the peace of mind that comes with complete documentation of the shredding process.
At Accurate, we make the shredding process easy on you every step of the way.
The first step in the shredding process is due diligence. At Accurate, we know that when our clients need to shred financial or medical records, they’re bound by law (HIPAA for medical clients, Gramm Leach-Bliley for financial clients) to perform due diligence in finding a document destruction firm that will treat the records in question with complete privacy. We provide contact information for our insurance representative and offer a sample Business Associates Agreement to prove that we’re serious about your privacy.
The second step in the shredding process is, well, shredding. But that’s not all there is to it. At Accurate, document destruction is a partnership between us and our clients. To prove it, we allow all our clients to view the shredding process from start to finish. Come to our shredding site or have us come to you – however you do it, we realize you’re an integral part of the process, and your satisfaction is paramount.
The third step in the shredding process is documentation. We can make a video recording of the entire shredding experience, so you have ironclad proof that your sensitive records were completely destroyed. When it’s all done, our staff will provide you with a certificate of destruction and a recycling report, along with a scale receipt showing how much material was destroyed.
At Accurate, we know that document destruction isn’t just a matter of throwing some papers in a shredder. It’s a covenant between us and our clients. A promise that your privacy, and your clients’ privacy, is just as important to us as it is to you.
